ASHLEY FALSNES
Art Camp Owner Director of Staff Development: Counselors
Ashley earned her Bachelor of the Arts degree, majoring in both Communications and Theatre Arts, from The University of Arizona in 2003. She then earned her Masters of the Arts and Cross Cultural Communications degree from National University in 2007. She also obtained her Multiple Subjects teaching credential in 2007. Ashley has worked with children for over twenty years through camps, volunteer programs, coaching, tutoring, and teaching! She has a background in Education, a love for the Arts, and a talent for working with children! Recently, Ashley has taught at Ilan Ramon Day School as the Kindergarten General Studies Lead Teacher and Art Specialist for Grades 1-5. Her goal is to positively influence children who attend The Art Camp with her originality, sparkle, and creativity! This will be Ashley’s 16th summer as Camp Director & her 6th summer as Camp Owner!

JENN SOLOMON
Art Camp Director
Staff Development Director: CITs & JCITs
Jenn Solomon earned her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Chapman University in 2017, and is currently a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Conejo Valley school district. In 2015, she also obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands in Communication Disorders. Jenn has worked with kids and teens ages 2-18 in both summer camp and academic settings. This will be Jenn's 9th summer at Art Camp. She has worked as a Camp Counselor with every age level: Art Camp 101, Upper Camp and Teen Camp. She was also the CIT/JCIT Director for 3 summers and then the Director of Staff Development for 1 summer. She is so excited to return for her 6th summer as a Camp Director! Jenn is committed to creating a positive, fun learning environment for all of our amazing campers!

DEBORAH TUROBINER
Art Camp 101 Director
Staff Development Director: Teachers
This will be Deborah's fourth year at Art Camp, though she's been a part of the "Art Camp Family" as a parent for 12 years! Deborah has a huge history with both camps and childcare, having worked with all ages. Deborah has previously been a Camp Counselor, CIT Director, Unit Leader, Synagogue Youth Director, Hebrew School Teacher and Preschool Teacher! During the year, Deborah teaches Judaic Studies at Ilan Ramon Day School for 2nd- 5th grade and runs at at home pod program with Hebrew, cooking and art classes. Deborah has a creative and unique approach to teachin, incorporating her love of nature, art, science and cooking. Deborah is a mom of 4, all of her children have attended art camp or work at art camp. She's so excited to return this summer and step into a new Director Role!

SKYLER COLANGELO
Director of Special Entertainment
This will be Skylers 16th year being a part of the art camp family. She went from camper, to CIT, to Camp Counselor, to Teacher to Director! Throughout her life, she has constantly attended art classes, and then began expanding her love for art by learning on her own. Skyler is a fan most of oil painting, but also enjoys sketching and acrylic painting. She attends Moorpark College and is studying to become an Elementary School Lead Teacher. Skyler is currently an Assistant General Education Teacher (Kindergarten) and Art Specialist Teacher (1st- 5th Grade). Skyler has taught at Thanksgiving Camp, Winter Camp, Spring Break Camp, Virtual Camp and Summer Camp! She also runs art birthday parties! Sklyer loves Art Camp and can't wait to return for her 3rd summer as a Camp Director!!

KAITLYN BETTERTON
CIT & JCIT Leadership Director
Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Liberal Studies, from California State University Channel Islands in 2011. She then went on to obtain her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 2013 and Master of Education Degree from California Lutheran University in 2015. She currently teaches 5th grade for the Pleasant Valley School District, where she has worked for the past 7 years. Kaitlyn has always had a passion for working with kids of all ages, and has spend the past several summers teaching STEAM classes, LEGO Robotics and Bot Coding for 1st- 3rd graders at PVSD's youth arts & academic enrichment summer program. Kaitlyn is so excited to return for her 3rd summer!

DAVID WOHLSTADTER
Founder; "The Big Cheese"
David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA in 1975. His vision of starting a series of comprehensive summer art programs for young children began many years ago when he saw a need for an alternative to traditional summer day camp programs. He brought his creativity, enthusiasm and love of children to each program he created.
