Each year we carefully plan our Art Camp 101 workshops to encourage our young
campers to explore their creativity and find their artistic voice! The Art Academy's
mission is to offer experiences that build self-confidence and self-esteem while
broadening perceptions of themselves and the world, proving that kids can do anything.

UNDER THE SEA ART
Colorful sunsets, Tikis and island life will inspire our young artists! We will explore tropical birds, animals and sea life. Visit the coral reef of your imagination and be inspired by jellyfish, seahorses, starfish and ocean life both big and small! Campers will have fun creating beautiful arts and crafts projects in this hands-on workshop!

FUN & FIT
Learn basic fitness, dance and gymnastics skills in this Art Camp 101 workshop.Campers will have a blast as they work on balance, stretching, and just get moving. We will incorporate games, sports, relays, tumbling, and art of course! Our safe camp environment will allow your campers to learn new skills everyday while having lots of fun!

YUMMY TREATS
TThe title say's it all, come and learn how to make all kinds of "Yummy Treats"! We will make both sweet AND savory foods from around the globe. Recipes will include: Snacks, Desserts, Smoothies and more!
*Parents, please note- the kids are given the choice to eat the foods they create during class!

In this workshop, campers will meet awesome animals like baby bunnies, giant reptiles, pigs and tiny snakes! In this fun and gentle envioronment, campers will learn about the featured animal a variety of ways including stories, games or a related arts and crafts project!

CRAFT PARTY!
WE JUST LOVE ARTS AND CRAFTS! But how to we choose just one medium? We couldn't, so we decided to create a class that gives us a little bit of everything we love! From Shrinky Dinks, to Acrylics, to Pastels... we will explore the wonderful world of imagination! You will turn your ideas into works of art and create your very own masterpieces!

CRAZY MAD SCIENCE
Are you ready to get crazy? Junior Scientists, come check out the wonderful world of science! In this CRAZY MAD SCIENCE workshop you will have the chance to be innovative, experiment and get messy and discovery why things happen the way they do! We will even experiment with how to make homemade ice cream using science!

JUNIOR BUILDERS
This fun workshop will combine science, architecture and basic woodworking with crafting! Each day we will BUILD something new, everything from legos to mini robots! Campers will learn how to build their projects following instructions one step at a time. They will also get to express their creativity through painting and decorating each project! We will even tackle group building challenges using silly materials and win prizes!
