Each year we carefully plan our Art Camp 101 workshops to encourage our young
campers to explore their creativity and find their artistic voice! The Art Academy's
mission is to offer experiences that build self-confidence and self-esteem while
broadening perceptions of themselves and the world, proving that kids can do anything.

CARTOON CRAFTS
One of our most popular crafting workshops is back!!! Campers will create all kinds of Disney, Pixar or DreamWorks inspired projects! We will read a story, or watch movie clips to inspire our imaginations! Campers will make items like Minon Self Portaits, Captain Hook's Treasure Chest or a Mad Hatter top hat!

COOKING FUN WITH 101
This delicious class will teach you recipes that are easy and tasty! Art Camp 101 campers will learn a vairety of savory dishes as well as sweet desserts! We will learn how to make delicious foods like homemade granola bars, pinwheels, cookies, breakfast burritos and cupcakes!
*Parents, please note- the kids are given the choice to eat the foods they create during class!

SHAKE IT
Learn basic gymnastics, dance and movement skills in this fulfilled workshop! Art Camp 101 campers will have fun as they work on balance & coordination. We will incorporate tumbling, games, rhythmic gymnastics, stretching, relays, scavenger hunts, obstacle courses and more!

REPTACULAR ANIMALS
Reptacular Animals is a hands-on workshop with live, kid-friendly ANIMALS! The campers get up close and personal with exciting new animals each day such as snakes, lizards, furry critters, parrots, farm animals, and more! In this fun and gentle learning environment, campers learn about the featured animals and then create their own art projects based around the animals that they met for the day. Projects can include recreating patterns from a tortoise's shell, painting the texture of a chinchilla's fur or creating a parrot that balances on your finger. This workshop will be an encounter to remember!

CRAFT STUDIO
This is what Art Camp is all about! Arts & Crafts! Campers will use many mediums and materials to make dazzling projects! From painted canvas projects to terriariums to photo frames, this class will deliver projects that you will love to show off for years to come!

SCIENCE ROCKS
In this hands on "SILLY ROCKS" workshop, there will be new hands-on experiments each day! This class is filled with popular science activities like growing crystals, lava lamps, neon slime and more! You will try out a ton of awesome experiments and bring home projects and materials to continue your creative explorations at home!

JUNIOR BUILDERS
This fun workshop will combine science, architecture and basic woodworking with crafting! Each day we will BUILD something new, everything from legos to mini robots! Campers will learn how to build their projects following instructions one step at a time. They will also get to express their creativity through painting and decorating each project! We will even tackle group building challenges using silly materials and win prizes!
