Each year we carefully plan our Art Camp 101 workshops to encourage our young
campers to explore their creativity and find their artistic voice! The Art Academy's
mission is to offer experiences that build self-confidence and self-esteem while
broadening perceptions of themselves and the world, proving that kids can do anything.

SCIENCE ROCKS!
Wow! Science ROCKS!!! There will be new, cool hands-on science experiments every day! This class is filled with popular science activities like, Rockets, Slime, Elephant's Toothpaste and more! We will even get to make our own ice cream using science concepts!

ART AROUND THE WORLD
Using various art media and techniques, art camp 101 campers will create artwork inspired by different cultures around the world! Mexican sombreros, sparkling Haitian "drapos", African mudcloth, Iranian donkey beads and bells are just a few of the projects we will make! Let's travel together, and make beautiful art from around the world!

SHAKE IT
Let's rock! Art Camp 101 campers will learn some basic gymnastics techniques in this fun & high-energy workshop. Warm-ups, stretching, and across the floor exercises will be introduced. We will encorporate all kinds of creative movement (dance, gymnastics, yoga, drama, games) and have fun!

WILD THINGS
Wild Things is a hands-on workshop with live, kid-friendly ANIMALS! The campers get up close and personal with exciting new animals each day such as snakes, lizards, furry critters, parrots, farm animals, and more! In this fun and gentle learning environment, campers learn about the featured animals and then create their own art projects based around the animals that they met for the day. Projects can include recreating patterns from a tortoise's shell, painting the texture of a chinchilla's fur or creating a parrot that balances on your finger. This workshop will be an encounter to remember!

from Art Camp 101 to upper camp.

OUTERSPACE ARTISTS
Get ready for an OUT OF THIS WORLD crafts workshop! We will combine vibrant colors, materials and techniques to create incredible one of a kind pieces! Our projects will be inspired by the sun, stars, planets and more! The sky is the limit in this outerspace arts and crafts workshop!

JR BUILDERS
Our youngest campers will learn basic woodworking skills in this safe and creative workshop! Campers will learn how to build their projects following instructions one step at a time, using hammers, nails, glue and more .They will also get to express their creativity through painting and decorating each project! Art Camp's Jr.Builders will proudly show family and friends their finished woodworking projects! Woodworking projects include: Key holder, Nakpin holder, Sailboat, Treasure Chest and more!
