ADENA LOEWENTHAL:
BS, ELEMENTARY EDUCATION AND SOCIOLOGY

Adena began her love of arts and crafts at the young age of five years old! Throughout her childhood, she always attended art classes and continued to pursue this love throughout high school by taking classes in sewing and fashion design. Adena discovered her love of teaching by being a camp counselor from the age of thirteen on. She then pursued her teaching credential at Indiana University where she graduated with a degree in both Elementary Education and Sociology. After graduating college, she moved to Chicago for a couple of years where she taught kindergarten before she returned back to her LA roots to teach third grade at Brawerman Elementary in Brentwood, CA. Although, this is her first summer teaching at Art Camp she is not new to Art Camp; as she has been a 101 counselor here for several summers in the past and is excited to return this year as a teacher! She is so excited to be teaching Jr. Builders, Craft Mania and Summer Spa!
